Things She Said

This morning at 6:30, Eric brought Tess in to nurse. We were all lying in bed while Tess nursed.
"How did you sleep," Eric asked.
"I slept pretty well. Though the last hour I had crazy dreams!" I replied.
"I heard you get up at 4."
"Actually it was 4:30. She slept all the way until 4:30. How did you sleep?"
"I slept well, too." Eric said.
Then Tess stopped nursing, and said in her little voice, "I slept well too."

When Tess and Eric took out the trash this morning, they saw the neighbor's dog. As they were coming in, I heard Eric say, "Yeah and he licked you and he licked me."
"Did you see the doggy?" I asked Tess.
"Yeah, and he licked me and he licked you," Tess informed me.
